Information on our current tiers of membership is set out below, including the annual subscription fees.

Individual Membership Categories

| Affiliate | No membership prerequisites, but an expectation to commit to at least 7 hours of CPD per year. | £114 |
| Student | Suitable for practising SBPs, qualified to NVQ level 2 or above, working towards Level 4 and committed to at least 7 hours of CPD per year. | £69 |
| Foundation | Suitable for practising SBPs, qualified to NVQ level 3 or above and committed to at least 7 hours of CPD per year. | £114 |
| Associate | Suitable for practising SBPs, qualified to NVQ level 4 or above and committed to at least 14 hours of CPD per year. | £127 |
| Full | Suitable for practising SBPs with at least 3 years’ experience, members of the SLT, qualified to NVQ level 5 or above and committed to at least 21 hours of CPD per year. | £154 |
| Fellow | Eligible to apply are: senior SBP leaders, members of the SLT, qualified to NVQ level 6 or above, engaged in system leadership activity and committed to at least 35 hours of CPD per year. To see full details of the Fellowship process, click here. | £205 (application only) |
| Full Membership & Fellow Application | This membership is for those who wish to apply for Fellowship and enjoy access to the benefits of Full Membership whilst their Fellowship application is under review. By selecting this membership category, you will immediately become a full ISBL member while your Fellow application is being assessed. On successful review, you will be upgraded to Fellow status. | £229 |
| Companion | This is the highest honour ISBL can bestow on its members. It is only attainable by invitation from ISBL’s board of trustees. This status is offered to individuals who have supported the aims of ISBL and its work, made significant contributions to the evolution of the school business profession and/or have increased the breadth of relevant research and knowledge. | £No Fee (invitation only) |

| School and Trust (small) | Offers full membership (excluding individual accreditation) to unlimited colleagues and this membership type is for single schools and trusts. | £309 |
| School and Trust (medium) | Offers full membership (excluding individual accreditation) to unlimited colleagues and this membership type is for schools and trusts with 2–10 schools. | £772.50 |
| School and Trust (large) | Offers full membership (excluding individual accreditation) to unlimited colleagues and this membership type is for schools and trusts with 11–16 schools. | £1,236 |
| School and Trust (extra large) | Offers full membership (excluding individual accreditation) to unlimited colleagues and this membership type is for schools and trusts with 17 and more schools. | £2,000 |
